Heya! I'm Todd, a freelance creative based in Vancouver, Canada. I work in Brand Design and Interdisciplinary Art Direction, leveraging over a decade of agency experience to lead creative initiatives and guide teams. My emphasis is on developing brands and campaigns that are conceptual, grounded, spirited, and thoughtfully crafted.
I'm a fourth-generation Japanese-Canadian, born and raised in British Columbia. I hold a Visual Arts diploma and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design. I’ve spent much of my career in Canada's top design and advertising agencies, and these experiences shape my practice, emphasizing a strategy-first creative process, personal accountability, and trust in my collaborators.
My interests span across art, fashion, photography, design, popular media, sports culture, and being outside in the elements. But much of my free time is spent chasing after our spirted kiddo and doggo (mostly in the outdoors).
